How to Exercise & Lose Weight in 3 Days

Losing weight is a difficult task but can be accomplished with dedication and diligence. Following a vegan diet combined with weight training will lead to results. Fruits, vegetables and whole grains are easy to digest and rich with nutrients. They will help flush toxins out of your body and prevent bloating. Weight training is also effective because it replaces fat with lean muscle and allows your metabolism to spike. Your metabolic rate will be increased throughout the day, even when you are at rest.

Step 1

Eat citrus fruits such as grapefruit for breakfast. Snack on nuts and seeds, such as almonds and sunflower seeds. Eat a salad with an array of vegetables for lunch. Stick with grains, legumes and slightly steamed vegetables for dinner.

Step 2

Go for a power walk every morning with free weights in hand after eating breakfast.

Step 3

Complete a workout plan every day for three days. Use your body weights as a lifting system for strength training exercises. Begin by doing 20 push-ups and sit-ups. Follow with 20 lunges and squats. With free weights in hand, do a series of 10 shoulder presses, 10 bicep curls and 10 chest presses. When you complete your regimen, stretch and repeat.

Step 4

Step on the scale each morning, note the foods you are consuming and exercise you are doing throughout the day to track your progress.

Tips and Warnings

  • Drink water throughout the day to stay hydrated and help your body flush out any toxins.
  • Keep moving from one exercise to another during your interval session. When using weights, do a slow and controlled motion to increase the muscle contraction.
